We were delighted to raise a sum of £23,610 for our chosen charity, The Nelson Trust in 2024.The entire team at Moore Allen & Innocent contributed by a mixture of fund raising events to include cake sales, walks, parachute jumps, big breakfasts, wreath workshop, grand charity auction, music recital and 100 club.
Partner Roy Bowyer commented "This was a tremendous effort and for a very special cause. In addition to the fund raising many of the team were employed assisting with gardening and policing other fund raising events for the charity. This takes the total funds raised for local charities in the last six years to £117,000. The Nelson Trust was our 2024 chosen charity but we also support a wide variety of other Cotswold charities".
Roy further added, that as a local business established in Cirencester since 1845 we are proud to continue to be a big part of the local community.
John Trolan, Nelson Trust CEO said "We are delighted with the tremendous support that the team at Moore, Allen & Innocent gave last year to help make real our belief that change is possible for everyone. To have raised a massive £11,805 through such an amazing range of events and activities which was then very generously matched by the firm's partners is a brilliant achievement. It was great too that so many of the enthusiastic team there helped in our gardens and at our events as well as donating old mobile phones for recycling. Thank you to them all for helping bring belief, hope and long term recovery to lives affected by substance use and multiple disadvantages."
